Alex Reichert was born in Brazil in 1949, at an early age his musical talent was recognized. At the age of three years old, he had his first special music at his local church.

At 10 years old he was the church choir director and at 16 he was the music director at IAP, a college in his home state. Around the same time, he was chosen to be the music director for the Second South-American SDA Youth Congress, for an audience of ten thousand people.

In 1972, he completed his university studies in Musical Education, Piano and Accordion and moved to Rio de Janeiro, where for 9 years, he was the music director for the radio program Voice of Prophecy. Working directly with the Brazilian King’s Heralds Quartet in Rio de Janeiro, he recorded 10 albums with them.

In 1983, he was invited to be the pianist for the group Heritage Singers USA, and toured with them throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada for a year. Since 1987, he has been the music director and organist for the radio program La Voz de la Esperanza (Voice of Prophecy, Spanish Version).
For two years, he was the music coordinator for two large crusades:
Net 98, in Orlando, FL and Net 2000, in Havana, Cuba, working with the evangelist Pastor A. Bullón and the team of La Voz de la Esperanza.
 
Alex wrote more than 100 hymns, 5 cantatas, and many musical arrangements for choirs, quartets, and soloists.

He presently lives in Glendale, CA, where he teaches piano and is the music director and pianist for several churches including the Brazilian SDA Church, Wilshire United Methodist Church, and La Plaza United Methodist Church, all three in the Los Angeles area. He continues his career as a musician and has performed in concerts around the world.

 

For four years in a row, he has been awarded the "Angel Award", in Hollywood, for his outstanding recordings.

For over four decades, through five albums, two DVDs, and many concerts, Alex’s music has touched the lives of thousands.

His life is surrounded by the love of music and he has dedicate this ministry to the Honor and Glory of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
